roadkillNo one knows for sure when they’re going to die. What if you did though? If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, would you go to work? Would you go to the gym? What would you do? What about if you knew you would die in a month? Would that change your answer? One year? Twenty years?

We do things everyday that don’t really matter yet we get so caught up in them. Knowing that you were going to die would change everything. To answer the questions raised, my answer would vary greatly based on the amount of time. I don’t think anyone would go to work if they knew they were going to die the next day but if that time was extended to one year or longer, most people probably would because they would still have to support themselves.

To me, I find that fascinating. That means that since we don’t know when we will die, we have to prepare for all of the above situations. We have to balance between living completely carefree and delaying gratification so much that you never get to enjoy it. You never know when something bad will strike you or someone you know so make sure the people around you know you love them. So with that in mind, don’t go dying on me. I need all the readers I can get.
