mirrorIn today’s “feel good and blame others” society, it’s far too easy to point the finger towards others when things don’t go the way you planned. Maybe, just maybe, the problem doesn’t lie with them as much as it does with you. Not everyone is above average and for every person who succeeds, there has to be many more who work under them. Unfortunately, the number of people who think they’re better than average is extremely disproportionate to logic. You can “could of, would of, should of” all you want but at the end of the day, it doesn’t get you what you want.

There are too many “victims” in society today. “I get paid less than ______ because __________ but I do the same quality of work.” If that is really true then let me know what industry you work in and I’ll make millions of dollars by only hiring people like you who do the same quality of work for less than market value! Does that really make sense? If people with unibrows were just as good as people without unibrows at a job but got paid 10% less then every single company would ONLY hire unibrowed employees.

If people spent the time they normally do complaining and instead worked to improve themselves, the need to make excuses for not being successful would magically disappear. So what am I saying? I’m saying that if you work hard, even you can be the senior drive-thru manager at Captain D’s! So, before you blame others, see what you can do to improve your situation.
