If you’re like me, you struggle to get through most days without falling asleep. I know I need more sleep but by the time I get home from work and start to relax after dinner, it’s pretty late. At that point, I only have a few hours of free time before I have to wake up and do it all over again. Needless to say, I resist going to bed. For this reason, I was interested to see this recent article that discusses the effects of sleep deprivation on children. Evidently, lack of sleep sets children’s cognitive abilities back several years. That explains A LOT.
