Making gold in World of Warcraft is hard for many players, myself included. That was until I picked up Hayden Hawke’s WoW Secret Gold Guide. This guide is fairly new guide to hit the market and you can tell because the tactics are up to date and current with the most recent release of the game. Any guide for making gold in Warcraft will have it’s fair share of questions as to whether it works or not.

The WoW Secret Gold Guide is 100% filled with tip and tactics that will not get an account banned from WoW. The tips and tricks are nothing that Blizzard would be hunting you down and banning your WoW account if you started using them. There are many guides available (both free and pay) that advocate using shady methods to make gold quickly. In terms of how easy they are to follow, Hayden has provided map locations and coordinates for his gold making methods.

As an example, one particular technique involves gathering a certain herb and selling it at the auction house. Hayden helpfully provides a map with a path on it to make gathering the herb very easy. In addition, he also provides a good idea of how much what you’ve just spent time farming should retail for at the AH. If we keep going with the herb example from before, those herbs might be worth 250 all total, assuming each is worth 50 a stack and you have 5 stacks. If those herbs are only going for 30 gold instead of 50 each, there is a choice to be made. You can either cash out and get the 150 gold OR you can follow some of the tricks Hayden mentions and make sure you get closer to the 50 gold per stack if not more. Trust me, once you learn to work the AH to your advantage, you’ll get an “AH HA” moment when it comes to making gold in WoW.

Hayden’s information about the auction house as well as other forms of obtaining gold are top notch. I’ve spent money before on gold guides and maybe learned one or two ways to improve my gold making. Using Hayden’s WoW Secret Gold guide, I’ve had newfound success in farming gold in Warcraft and I also have a better understanding on how to have some of my alternate characters ready to make gold from the start.
