Do you want to live life the way you were meant to live it? Do you want to do whatever you want whenever you want to? Then you will certainly be interested in The Four Hour Workweek. This book presents a plan for anyone to liberate their lifestyle and live a life free of the demands placed on the average person in society today.
If you don\’t want to live paycheck to paycheck anymore, and you certainly don\’t want to work incredibly hard every single day just to get by, then you will want to read The Four Hour Workweek. This book supplies all of the details about how you can become your own boss and start living life the way you have always wanted to.
The first step you should take to attain financial freedom and live the life of your dreams is decide exactly what you want. Once you know what you want, you will be able to ascertain what it will take to actually achieve your goal. Once you know exactly what you want, you will be able to create a clear cut plan for succeeding at what you have always wanted to do.
You should research how much it will cost to actually make your dreams a reality. Do you want to move to a certain part of the world? Do you want to start up a certain type of business? Once you know what it will take to complete your goals, you will know exactly what you need to make your dreams a reality. You first need to get past your fears and start believing that your dreams really can come true to make them a reality though.
By knowing exactly what you want to achieve, you can also create more effective efforts to turn your dream into a reality far sooner than you ever thought could be possible. When all of your efforts are directed towards the most effective actions, you\’ll notice that your dreams start turning into reality practically immediately. Most people take actions that are irrelevant to their deepest desires. These very rarely, if ever, move them closer to achieving their goals.
To fully take advantage of the teachings offered in The Four Hour Workweek though, you will also need to simplify your life. Remove any activities or objects that create clutter in your life. When your income is generated automatically, you have more time to live life the way you want to, rather than the way your boss wants you to live it.
Eventually, after you have taken the previous steps, you will achieve a lifestyle that is liberated from the common rat race. The ultimate goal is to achieve a life that is not only fulfilling, but one that allows you to do what you want whenever you want to from anywhere in the world.
Some recommendations for achieving an automated lifestyle include hiring a personal assistant from a Third World country. By doing this, you can have somebody taking care of your business, while you go out into the world to enjoy yourself. You can also take advantage of options like pay per click advertising to automate your entire business.
Once you have decided what you really want, and you know what it will take to achieve your goal, you can start creating a life that automatically creates income. Then, you can live a joyous life in your favorite part of the world.
If you are looking to escape the rat race and just work four hours a week, then you will need a realistic plan. The four hour workweek provides this plan for anyone who is interested in freeing themselves from the demands of the average life.

Personal Development For Success. What Are The Alternatives?
December 4, 2009 by Peter Stephenson
Young people growing individually is the underpinning theme of Personal Department. Included are the development of yourself as a person, and how you acquire capability and knowledge. Additionally it is about how you develop in maturity, in the way you are educated, how you work, and how you develop socially.
True, outside influences from family, through schooling and subsequent education, and in one’s social life, all have their significance in Personal Development. But underpinning this, is the effort we are prepared to make ourselves. A runner can receive the best training, but will not win the marathon unless they have pursued their training vigorously, and are inspired to be the winner.
Developing as a person and developing in terms of one’s abilities form important components of Personal Development. Additionally though, it’s about the growth of one’s motivation to succeed. In so doing, ordinarily when young, we undergo Conventional Personal Development
Developing personally in a Conventional manner means quite normal early and later education. It also means experiencing pastimes and activities outside of academic education. I found in my study of 100 people who are world famous and successful, that 52% of them were Conventional in their Personal Development as youngsters.
Others of us, engage in Personal Development which is more Specialized. Examples include being a good singer or sportsperson. In such cases our parents may have committed and motivated us to develop such gifts in a forthright manner, at the same time allowing us to opt out of the educational system when still quite young.
On the other hand, we may have opted out early to become a tradesperson, apprentice, or to pursue vocational interests. Personal Development which is Specialized therefore cover a breadth of possibilities. In my study of world success stories, 24% were Specialized as young people.
But Personal Development does not stop at just being Conventional or Specialized. It can also include Broad Life Experience when young. This again means we leave the more normal form of education, early.
With Broad Life Experience, young people pursue their own lives, wherever this takes them. This is how they learn and acquire capability, in other words by being involved on the ground in different walks of life. This also comes about by watching other people and life happenings all around them.
So this is very hands on and focuses on reality, rather than on life discovery from a book. May call this reality university, although others may regret they did not complete advanced academic study. Of the successful people I studied, 24% engaged in Personal Development as young people, through Broad Life Experience.

New Year Resolution Ideas To Improve Parenthood
November 28, 2009 by Trevor Johnson
When forming New year resolution ideas we usually think of the negative aspects of our life and trying to fix problems. We tend not to think of treating ourselves or focussing on the positives. Most of the time when we think of trying to fix the negatives we fail.
If you are a parent then resolutions fitted around your child might be the appropriate direction to go. As long as this is something that you want to change and are not doing it with the sole purpose to please someone else. What you will find is that as you change the way you teach your children other positive changes will take place in your life. The result will be that you are happier in yourself because children are behaving better.
Start to recognise when a child is behaving well and reward them accordingly. Notice the words used to speak to children and learn to show them gratitude instead of focussing on the negatives. Negatives are not helpful when spoken to a child.
Simple resolutions such as being careful with the words you speak to your children. Start to recognise the words that are not helpful when spoken to a child. Telling children they are naughty, stupid or bad can affect a child’s self esteem and act as labels.
Share a sport or other physical activity that you both like to do. Such as taking a child out blackberry picking or roller skating since this is all spending quality time with your child. There are so many physical activities that you can do with your child that will help your relationship to grow.
Try to be more patient, calm and creative with your child. You could do hobby activities like making posters or pictures. Allow your child to express themselves with you and value the inner child that you have inside. When you learn to get close to your child the benefits are endless. Try to explain things to your child rather than shouting at them and try to answer their questions in a positive way.
Stop bad habits before they spiral out of control. Avoid the triggers for the bad behaviour such as not hanging around outside in the smokers’ corner. If bad habits are stopped early then children are not likely to have the same bad habits when they are older.
If a parent smokes then the child might smoke when they are older as well. If a parent is over weight then the child might be prone to being overweight as well. Try to nip bad habits in the bud so that children are not likely to have the same bad habits when they are older.

Unraveling the Power Of Hypnosis Training
November 15, 2009 by Gerald Green
Many famous academies offer certified courses on hypnosis, especially on its curative offshoot, hypnotherapy. The training courses are created in order to make you completely proficient in the practice of hypnotherapy, which can benefit you immensely in your life.
Hypnosis training instructs you how to journey into the innermost recesses of human mind and unravel the underlying causes of the problems the person is suffering from. You can employ the knowledge and skills acquired in the training to significantly improve your own life as well as benefit others.
Effective hypnosis training requires lot more than merely a course. Repeated practice and strong will power are required to be skilled in this activity, as is the case with any other high skill activity. A person possessing a healthy and unbound mind is in a better position to assimilate and internalize the lessons imparted in hypnosis training. An individual having such a mind also displays important qualities like high concentration, boldness and unbeatable will power.
Hypnotherapy is a powerful curative remedy that brings with it a range of advantages. Hypnotherapy training can bring life altering changes in a person by helping him to get in touch with the subconscious. Positive thoughts can be infused in a person’s subconscious through this technique, which can usher in critical behavioural changes, thus helping him overcome his deficiencies.
Hypnotherapy can be categorized into self hypnosis and hypnosis targeted at another individual. Through self hypnosis, recognition and remedy of one’s own deficiencies is possible, and the person emerges as an altered individual with greater levels of self confidence and better chances of success in professional life, besides attaining great communication and people management skills. A little cleaning up of the subconscious could give splendid results in building up motivation and will power.
Hypnotherapy training can also be used in a profession by people who help patients come out of their disorders. All sorts of abnormal behaviour can be corrected by an experienced hypnotherapist. From anxiety to irrational fears and from obsessive compulsions to childhood problems, hypnosis can provide a remedy for all, if practiced correctly. Roadside performances involving open-air hypnotic sessions are also used to create knowledge about hypnotherapy and the potential of the subconscious mind amongst the public who are present there either as onlookers or as participants.
Through hypnosis training, one can acquire skills for occupational use and also develop an ability to deal with hostile situations and tough people, and thus it is an ideal tool for self-renewal for people from diverse fields and of all ages.

Facing Crisis With A Positive Outlook

What we should do when things go bad.
When the financial market is in chaos all across the world, people consider clinging on to whatever they have and also reduce expenses. And they think that everybody does so, mainly because newspapers proclaim as such.
Everyone ISN`T acting that way of course. In fact, some people and some businesses thrive no matter where the economy is going. And when you look for why that is, you find that the answer often lies in a simple place where most people have never even looked. Let’s explore together.
When a current is going downward, whatever the reason be, the way to survive is by rowing against the current. If we let ourselves to be swept away by the current, we may sink deep down and survival might become difficult.
The truth is that when we know how to steer ourselves and be our own masters, we will able to stay afloat or swim against the current, come what may. Let us see how we can manage it.
‘Go-getters’ or ‘Go-contributors’
Let’s say we want more – more profits, a pay raise, more holidays, more freedom, and more opportunities.
When we yearn for a thing, our response is to try to get it. By that yardstick everybody is a ‘Go-getter’. And a ‘go-getter’ is understood as a dynamic, enterprising person with leadership qualities. Such an attitude is a prime requirement for succeeding in life as we understand it. Nevertheless, there is an innate conundrum. When these approaches are put into practice, there are certain unanticipated, though unavoidable upshots.
The crux of the problem is that after ‘getting’ and ‘owning’ a thing, what eventually happens is ‘dropping’ it. We either actually throw it away or become indifferent to it.
And when we are tired of one thing we concentrate on getting something new. And these fresh cravings never end. The more we go in search of newer things, the wider the chain of desire that makes us continuously yearn for things. It simply becomes an addiction!
Why don’t we turn our ‘getting’ into contributing?
You might be conscious that the act of contributing produces a unique pleasure. This arises from gratification and not from alarm or self-indulgence. One can go on contributing and get so much in return like a most rewarding expedition.
Our abundant and providing attitude creates abundant and providing clients and team mates while our cost awareness and ‘getting approach’ would draw towards us only similar clients and team mates. And those are the type of people we would not like to be friends with!
Inspiring capitalism
Many businesses see this now. They are now starting to give more and more in various ways. There’s a veritable ’sea-change’ going on as more people ‘get’ the role that giving can play in their business. Bill Gates is a class example. In a July 2008 lead article in TIME Magazine he referred to it as ‘Creative Capitalism’.
He explained that helping others might be the fine deciding point that could persuade people to prefer one product to another.
The gist of what Bill Gates is saying is that when an enterprise is associated with the idea of providing in any manner, that enterprise and its products become more appealing to clients. It carves out a niche for itself far above that of others.
Creative Capitalism is concerned about reaching higher than what we might reconcile for to arrive at where we hoped to arrive. When we can make the most of our design and inspiration in a way that assists and fosters the larger community of nations and continents, we are preventing the wastage of supplies, endeavours and capacities to succeed. Then we are crafting the most authentic success for ourselves and for the financial stability of the countries across the world.
The charm of effective giving
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the phrase that’s often used to describe giving back at a corporate level. It’s becoming almost a required part of corporate business practice. Yet when it’s done out of a sense of obligation or with the intent to just make ourselves look good, people eventually get what it is. It still is a temporary strategy.
Business ventures and people who ‘donate’ become popular. The zeal and sincerity that prods them to act is recognized by the people with whom they interact. This response is on top of what is spun by way of the company’s public relation efforts.
What would be the result if part of the amount that is meant for marketing is diverted towards charity?
From the act of giving rises something that transcends us. The act of contributing results in revelation. And this revelation ensues only when it reverberates across those whom we want to arouse. And we are aroused when we become part of the happening totally. We cannot be satisfied with the narratives that are passed on to us. Those tales have to be lived in. in the end it is human nature to yearn for the satisfaction of making our own donation – to our kith and kin and organizations and society.
Transaction-based giving makes it happen automatically
The facility for contributing became so much simpler because of a programme (or one can say a ‘development’) called Buy1GIVE1 (Buy One Give One). Buy1GIVE1 is the heart of transaction-based giving. Transaction-based giving revolutionises things. Let us use our creativity and analyse how.
How wonderful is the situation where every time someone buys an ice cream, a child somewhere in an underprivileged country gets a cup of milk?
Equally exemplary would be the situation where whenever someone subscribes to a magazine, a tree would instantly get planted in a barren patch in another continent? Or, if every time one eats a hamburger another would instantly get at least a handful of rice?
Or supposing you are undergoing some training. How wonderful it would be if another eager student far away is also getting the necessary training as a corollary (believe it or not, the training does not cost the training institute more than 60 cents a day).
Or if a conference sponsors has arranged a speaker, part of whose income goes to help kids who has speech impediments due to deformities, wouldn’t that be a matter to feel satisfied? Just by attending the conference and paying for it, you are becoming part of a noble cause.
Imagine the perfect scenario where transaction-based giving can be applied in one’s own special manner to correspond with the available products and services to include every member of the group and customers. It is possible.
The real win-win economy
Business ventures, on a global basis, have already internalized the efficacy of this transaction-based giving. A case in point is TESCO, one of the foremost supermarket chains of UK. The company’s programme ensures that a Kenyan child gets a school uniform when someone buys a pair of school trousers from them.
The Mineral Water Company known as Volvic is one that has followed swiftly in this transaction-based giving program. They connect their water selling to well digging in Africa and call it Buy1 GIVE 10, because when one litre of water is sold, the money that comes from it helps in making a 10 litres flow in the well that is being dug.
Lesser to middle level businesses have now begun to spearhead the movement of increasing the idea of global giving through Creative Capitalism. Buy1GIVE1 (www.b1g1.com), a Singapore-based Social Enterprise came up with a procedure that has turned this transaction-based giving into something each and every human being can be part of.
Buy1GIVE1 is the abode of the most powerful transaction-based giving in the world because it ties up any enterprise of any size to any worthy cause in the world. It is creating an international community of entrepreneurial givers and for SME`s, Buy1GIVE1 correlates enterprises, their buyers AND causes in an unsurpassable way. The system has been so perfected that it is automated.
You can become a citizen of this global giving movement by simply getting a Buy1GIVE1 `VISA` directly off the Buy1GIVE1 site at www.b1g1.com. And if you own a business you can become a B1G1 Business through a simple online application and select your cause for your main product or service to kick-start you’re giving. Buy1GIVE1 forwards 100% of the contributions to their international Worthy Cause Partners (there are now over 528 projects you can select) making the giving even more effective.

Discovering what we are looking for-Nature has got the answer
So let’s let us return to the starting point-turbulent economics and managing to get what we need. The needs are in fact not all that knotty. They are just a group of three words that begin with the letter S – strong bonds, solidarity and society.
When we can pool resources and not segregate and when we can divine a proper way to augment what everyone has got and not cut down from what each has got, we understand that there is a veritable cornucopia of sources to be had in the world. And when we bond, not just with our physical persona, but with our intrinsic selves, we discern something completely fascinating -that we’re all ONE. Then we comprehend how uncomplicated it is to form a universal community from something as ordinary as giving.
And nature gives us a real clue to that.
In earth’s natural workshop, beautiful butterflies fertilize flowers and help to produce gardens that continue generation after generation. It was there even before recorded history.
Failures are said to be stepping stones to success. In the same way we can turn setbacks into advantages. In reality we should be thankful for the current situation that is helping us to move ahead.
And when a person opts to begin giving today itself, the sense of euphoria would be much more, notwithstanding the economic problems. And with this sense of elation comes a reawakening of hope that will remind him of how the power and direction of tide can easily change. And his giving might be that which brings about this change.
